Your questions, answered

  • Speed dating is a fun and easy way to meet multiple singles within a few hours. You’ll enjoy a series of relaxed, one on one “mini dates”, each lasting just a few minutes… long enough to feel if there’s chemistry, short enough to avoid awkward silences. When time is called, the men will do the rotating, and you’ll move on to your next conversation. After the event, you’ll privately select the people you’d like to see again, and if the feeling is mutual, we’ll connect you! See “How it works” page for more details.

  • NO WALK-INS

    All event tickets must be purchased in advance. You will be turned away if you show up as a walk-in.

    If you’re bringing a friend, they must also purchase a ticket in advance in order to attend the event with you.

  • We encourage everyone to arrive 15 minutes before the event start time. Arriving early gives you time to to find the venue, account for parking, and check in. You’ll want to utilize this time to grab a drink, get settled, and be ready to start on time. During this window, our host will be checking attendees in and giving further instructions on how to proceed.

    Arriving late can affect other participants, as someone might be left without a date during the first round. To ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone, please do your best to arrive on time or early.

    Guests arriving after the event officially begins will unfortunately not be able to participate, and no refund or credit can be issued.

  • Anything you want! We’ve created a list of Icebreaker Questions for you to view or print, if you’re feeling stuck.

    Daters usually talk about hobbies, how they spend their time off, or the area of town they live in. And if you’re ever sitting across from someone you're not feeling romantically connected too, that’s okay! Remember to be respectful and kind… they are there for the same reason you are. To find love!

  • Casual always works. Some events are indoors, some are outdoors. We encourage you to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

  • We want attendees to be comfortable with the age group they're "dating". A few years over or under is fine, but please choose an event that fits your age range.

  • You'll generally date between 5 to 15 women or men at our events.

  • If you get matches, you'll be emailed within 24 hours after the end of the event. Every attendee is sent a match email, even if they have zero matches. If you don't get an email within two days, please contact us at info@meetyourmatchspeeddating.com.

  • As long as you’ve purchased your ticket in advance and got an email confirmation, you are all set! Your paid registration puts you on the guest list. You are not required to bring anything else besides a positive attitude and openness to the experience.

  • All events are hosted at local, family-owned businesses that serve food and drinks. A minimum purchase of one drink or food item (non-alcoholic options available) is required by the venue.

  • Cancelations rarely happen. We require a balanced gender ratio for the best experience. If this balance isn’t met, the event may be canceled. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and a full refund will be issued.

  • All sales are final and all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. In the event an event is canceled, a full refund will be issued.

  • Events may be photographed and/or filmed. By attending, you consent to the use of these photos and videos in our marketing and promotional materials. No names, contact details, or other personal information will ever be shared.
